This version wasn't scheduled to be released this soon, but we added some stuff that was scattered among inter-release builds. This led to scarcity, and in order to properly spot bugs and optimize times, we moved forward and pushed it.
Let's get into the changes list:
Fixes
- Fixed damage counters issue on labeling/mislabeling killed cards.
- Adjusted damage counter timing issue that prevented showing final values.
- Added cleanup of stuck animations.
- Fixed issue when selecting own cards on the board in which previous targets weren't disabled before calculating new ones.
- Fixed missing muting of sound effects on the board controls.
- Internal optimizations.
- Server side:
- #BR230804T192205 ~ Added validation for position of an attacked card.
- #BR230810M1 ~ Fixed issue where not all cards from the deck were given for battle.
Improvements and additions
- Added device info to the bug report.
- Implemented a "simple attack animations" mode for slower devices. This mode can be toggled on the settings view.
- Added clock ticking sound with buzz alerts during the last 10 seconds of the in-battle turn timer.
- #TR230706A ~ Reworked normal/hover effects for items on the shop, marketplace and cards on the inventory manager.
- Beautified in-board hand action buttons.
- Implemented in-board voice events for cards (placement and attack warcries).
- Added support for optimized image/video assets on boards.
- Multiple board fixes and optimizations.
- Added markers to cards used in other decks on the left side of the deck builder to help picking unused cards.
-
#TR230728A ~ Added confirmation dialog when challenging someone while having open matches.
Note: if accepted and joined, the server will cancel other open matches of both players. - Added network failure alerts.
- Added experimental match reload function.
Some important things
We updated the welcome screen and added some of the known issues that are still pending, I.E.:
- Prefills phase will hang up if network connection falls.
- That annoying 'display bug' is still around.
- Not all cards are being given during a match.
Now, there are a lot of tickets that were generated during the inter-releases period mentioned above. We'll take a look at them within the next days, archive the ones that are already fixed and document the ones that need attention.
After that review, we'll enter a debug-only phase, preventing to add stuff to focus only on fixing flaws. We need the battle system to be OK before implementing other stuff, like the magics system.
